Flat Tobin in Deutschland
People even sail boats on the River Main. We saw a boat club across the river where young people went out in rowing skells. We tried to get a picture of the rowers but Flat Tobin jumped in front of the camera. He's such a ham!

There are a lot of places to go, in Frankfurt, and there's a lot to see. We only had one day, though, because we had to get to Guetersloh, where Tobin's uncle, Ray, had work to do. We could have gone to the Goethe house where a German writer named Goethe wrote depressing stories about depressing people who lived depressing lives and were mostly depressed but we thought that, since the sun wasn't shining and it was kind of a cloudy day, the trip might be a little... depressing.

So we walked all around the city. When we stopped to get something to drink, Tobin's uncle learned to say "Dee Ate Co Luh Bit Uh" -- which is German for "Diet Coke, please." Flat Tobin learned to say, "KafFee Mit Milch," which is coffee with milk, but everyone just laughed and said he was mightly small to be drinking coffee and he had some fruit juice.
